Due to unforeseen circumstances, the awarding of scholarships for the 2007 program has been delayed as has been the posting of applications for the 2008 program.

The issues that have delayed the announcement of the 2007 program winners and the posting of 2008 applications have been resolved and both will be posted on the Web site--www.schering-ploughwilltowin.com-in April.

SCHERING-PLOUGH OFFERS "WILL TO WIN" ASTHMA SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM

Living with asthma can be a real challenge. Yet every day, asthma sufferers overcome obstacles and achieve great things—in every life endeavor imaginable. That’s why Schering-Plough wants to recognize them through the “Will to Win” Scholarship Program.

If you’re an outstanding high school senior, disciplined, determined, and successful in managing your asthma, and are pursuing a higher education, you may be an ideal candidate for a “Will to Win” Scholarship. Sponsored by Schering-Plough, our program encourages young people with asthma to lead active, healthy lives and pursue their dreams. Every “Will to Win” recipient is an outstanding example of the accomplishments made by people with asthma.

So, whether you excel in the classroom or the community, in the arts or on the field or court, apply for a “Will to Win” Scholarship now. Ten $5,000 scholarships are available. Take pride in your achievements today. It could help pay for college tomorrow.

Schering-Plough launched the “Will to Win” some 22 years ago. Over the years the program has awarded scholarship money to students with asthma who are pursuing higher education. Schering-Plough will award a total of $50,000 in scholarship grants in five categories. The scholarship provides encouragement to strive for great academic and athletic achievements despite asthma, and is part of the dedication of Schering-Plough to the respiratory community.

Please see the terms and conditionsof the program, which are set forth on this Web site. Each scholarship is a one-time grant. All scholarships will be distributed directly to the student’s college, and must be used for undergraduate studies.

Winners will be required to provide their social security number for distribution of payment. If a winner is unable to use the entire scholarship for any reason, all remaining money will be donated to the high school the student attended to help another student with asthma.
